This page describes the cookies and similar storage used on RiverMath, including Google Analytics and first-party Umami when you opt in. You can change your choice at any time.
Necessary storage
We store your cookie preference (accepted or necessary only) in localStorage and in a first-party cookie named rivermath_cookie_consent, for up to 12 months. Calculator history and the yellow sync bar, if you use them, stay on this device or on our server as described on About. Light, dark or system appearance is stored in localStorage as rivermath.theme.v1. These are needed for the site to remember your choice; they are not advertising cookies.
Analytics cookies
If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-SVM68TGM9C on RiverMath, and a first-party Umami script from https://stats.rivermath.com (website 9e7d055f-e576-4e78-b038-d8f11ba91ece). Google processes page views, approximate location from IP, device and browser type, and which pages you open. Umami records page views and optional calculator events on our own stats host. This helps us see which calculators are useful. Neither script loads until you accept, and neither is used for ads on this site.
What Google may store
Typical Google Analytics cookies include _ga (about two years) and _ga_SVM68TGM9C (session and campaign data, about two years). They are set by Google on this domain after consent. Google’s own privacy policy applies to their processing. Umami is first-party and usually cookieless; if it writes a visitor cache, that lives in this browser (for example umami.cache) and is cleared when you switch to necessary only.
How to withdraw consent
Use the buttons below, Cookie settings in the footer, or the banner that appears on a first visit. If you switch to necessary only after accepting, we stop loading Google Analytics and Umami, tell the browser to disable that measurement ID, and try to expire existing _ga cookies and Umami cache. You can also clear site data in your browser.
