This page describes what RiverMath stores, why, and how you control it. It is not legal advice.
Who runs the site
RiverMath is run by [administrator — TODO]. Company number, address and email are listed here only when they exist in the site configuration — they are not invented for this page.
Calculation
Every formula runs in your browser after the page loads. We do not need an account for that.
History on this device
Recent results can be kept in this browser’s localStorage so you can reopen them. Clearing history on the History page deletes that local copy.
Optional server copy
A copy of a result is sent to our server only if you turn on “Save results on the server”. Only the site owner can read it, with a PIN — other visitors cannot. You can turn sync off at any time. Turning it off stops new copies; it does not automatically wipe what was already stored.
Body, pregnancy and breathalyzer
BMI, body fat, waist-hip, FFMI, calories, ovulation, pregnancy, alcohol units and the breathalyzer never send results to the server, even if global sync is on. Those readings stay in this browser if you use local history.
Cookies and analytics
Necessary storage remembers your cookie choice. Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-SVM68TGM9C) and first-party Umami (stats.rivermath.com) load only after you accept, on the same analytics toggle. Details and a way to change that choice are on the cookie page.
GDPR rights
If you are in the EEA or UK you may ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction or a copy of personal data we hold, and you may object to processing or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For an optional server history copy, contact us with enough detail to find the record (for example the time and tool). Analytics, if you accepted it, is processed by Google and on our Umami host.
