Solar payback

Yearly kilowatt-hours use the same sketch as the yield calculator, including a second plane if you enter one. Energy used on site avoids the purchase price. The surplus is sold at the price you enter, in the manner of net-billing. If you enter yearly use, self-consumption cannot exceed that use, and the page also shows grid import and a rough self-sufficiency share. Payback is net cost (install minus subsidy) divided by first-year savings. The model ignores inflation, degradation and a loan. It is not a bank offer.

Without storage, 25–35% self-consumption is common in a house. A home battery can raise that share toward half, and the cost. Under net-billing the sale price changes from month to month. Installed cost in recent Polish quotes is often around 6 000 zł per kWp before any grant.
