Solar sizing

Suggested size is yearly use multiplied by the coverage share, then divided by the same yield and orientation factors as the yield calculator. A heat pump or an electric car can double a house’s yearly kilowatt-hours; put the total here, not the lights alone. Module count uses the wattage you enter. Roof area is optional and assumes about 225 W per square metre (a 485 W module on roughly 2.2 m²). This is not a system design and not a grid-connection study.
