On an ordinary contract the notice is two weeks under six months of service, one month from six months to three years, and three months after that. A trial period uses three days, one week or two weeks. The end date adds calendar months for the monthly notices and days for the shorter ones. Collective agreements and a termination for fault are not in the sketch.
